Abstract

This systematic review article analyzes knowledge management (KM) in multinational enterprises (MNEs), exploring how these organizations capture, share and use knowledge to maintain a competitive advantage. The objective of the study is to identify the challenges, effective strategies and impact of GK on innovation and organizational performance of MNEs. The review is based on an analysis of studies published between 2018 and 2022, using a systematic approach to identify, evaluate and synthesize relevant literature. The review results reveal that GK is crucial to the success of MNEs, but cultural differences, geographic barriers, and complex organizational structures present significant challenges. Effective strategies for knowledge transfer include intercultural training programs, the use of information and communication technologies, and the creation of communities of practice.
