Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the correlation between burnout syndrome and job satisfaction in forensic professionals working in medical-legal divisions. A cross-sectional design was used to evaluate the relationship between these variables in a sample of 200 forensic professionals. Validated questionnaires were applied to measure burnout and job satisfaction, and statistical analyses were conducted to identify the strength and direction of the correlation. The results indicate a negative correlation between burnout syndrome and job satisfaction, suggesting that as burnout levels increase, job satisfaction decreases. These findings highlight the importance of implementing intervention strategies to prevent burnout and improve job satisfaction in this professional group.
